Temple Collective was created by Emma Wright —
a writer, editor and curator turned modern mystic.
Emma spent twenty years in the creative industries fostering collabs and migrations between fashion, photography, travel and art with Exit Magazine; leading and advocating for multi-disciplinary creative mergers for Design Indaba, profiling creative greats and emerging talents for major magazines like Elle, Elle Decor, House and Leisure and Visi; and managing teams to service multi-channel accounts for John Brown Media.
Emma began studying energetics in 2004, opening a healing practice alongside her corporate career in 2008, to which she added TRE (a somatic practice for trauma healing in which she is a certified facilitator) in 2010. In 2013, she met her teacher, psychologist and Buddhist meditation teacher Sue Cooper, with whom she continues to practice today.
After leaving city and career in 2018 for a year of rewilding, Emma began offering weekly women’s circles and developed the Temple methodology in response to a need for a multi-faceted, feminine and modern approach to healing, transformation and evolution.
